PURPOSE:To enable to select the tape speed freely, by controlling automatically the drum motor so that the horizontal synchronizing frequency of the reproducing video signal or the frequency equivalent to it becomes regular even when the tape speed is changed. CONSTITUTION:In case of fast-forwarding reproducing and rewinding reproducing in the tape speed higher than that for normal reproducing, the reproducing video signal is supplied to terminal T1, and only the synchronizing signal in the video signal is taken out by synchronizing separating circuit 1, and the horizontal synchronizing signal is taken out by horizontal synchronizing separating circuit 2. This horizontal synchronizing signal taken out from the video signal is supplied to frequency comparing circuit 3 and is compared with the reference frequency supplied from terminal T2. The correction signal output from output terminal 3 is supplied to the speed control circuit of the drive motor by comparing circuit 3 to select the tape speed freely. |
