PURPOSE:To obtain highly efficient driving with small variation in rotation, by driving each pole of the stator of the multiple pole Hall motor in response to the output signal of each stage of a ring counter which performs counting in synchronization with clock pulses. CONSTITUTION:The ring counter RC performs counting by the clock pulses supplied from a clock oscillator 27 via a switch 26 at the time of starting, and supplies the pulse signals to transistors Q1-Q8. Then, rotary magnetic field is generated inside the stator 13 by the conduction of an exciting current and a rotor 12 is rotated. A phototransistor 20 outputs the pulses by the rotation of the rotor 12, a pulse sensor 28 is triggered, and the ring counter RC is reset. The pulse sensor 28 turns the switch 26 to a phototransistor 18, and the ring counter RC is controlled by the output pulses of a phototransistor 18 of a sensor 25 which senses holes 16 in an encoder 15. |
