PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of cracks and exfoliation of an insulating coating by forming self-melting wire in a coil shape, conducting the current through this wire to melt it, and then forming the coil into a desired shape. CONSTITUTION:The insulating coating is provided on the surface of a conductor (self-melting wire), and an adhesive coating is further provided on said surface. The self-melting wire is wound as a circular shaped coil 10. A current is conducted through said coil 10 to heat it, and the adhesive coating is melted. Thereafter the coil 10 is formed into a desired shape and hardened. In this method the generation of cracks and exfoliation of the insulating coating on the coil surface due to the formation can be prevented. |
