PURPOSE:To reduce the processing time of CPU, by providing the control block area to each peripheral device in the memory unit, feeding the signal that the block is set to the peripheral device, and starting the peripheral device with this signal. CONSTITUTION:When a start instruction is given from a central processor 2 to a peripheral device 4, a control block 5 is set in a main memory unit. When it is set, the setting is sensed with the main memory unit control section 1a, and the signal indicating the setting of control block is fed to the peripheral controller 4a corresponded via the signal line 6 as the start signal. The section 4a starts operation by receiving this signal, and the control block is read out from other area where the rest of the control block is set for instructed operation. |
