Sample and hold circuit - forms quotient of sample and time giving slope of line joining two sample points
摘要

The sample and hold circuit reconstructs analog signals from samples. The difference between the preceeding sample and the next sample is formed. The time difference associated with this sample difference is determined and stored. The quotient of the sample and time differences is formed to give the slope of a line joining the two sample points on a graph of sample amplitude against time. This quotient is then integrated to give the relevant section of the final curve passing through all sample points. The circuit has very few components and can operate with a variable sampling rate.
