PURPOSE:To simultaneously conduct both constant voltage and current retaining functions by one converter by duplexing error amplifiers of a loop control system and providing a diode OR connecting circuit. CONSTITUTION:When the detected output of the first error amplifier 61 is represented by E1, the detected output of the second error amplifier 62 is represented by E2 and the output of an auxiliary secondary winding N2 is represented by E3, since a constant voltage diode 64 is obstructed in a region where E1<E2 is consistent, the control system operates to maintain constant current with control signals of the first error amplifier 61 and diode 63 side. If an output load 41 becomes higher than a predetermined value or opens, the voltage of the output terminal 40 increases so that the diode 64 is conducted in the region where E2<E1 is consistent, and this control system operates to maintain constant voltage with the detected output of the second error amplifier 62. |
