PURPOSE:To increase the detection sensitivity and the measuring accuracy, by leading in and out a transparent plate with a slope to the light axis of a spectroscope at the rear part of incident slit or the front part of exit slit of a spectroscope. CONSTITUTION:The light from a light source 11 enters a spectroscope 10 via an incident slit 12 and enters an exit 13 slit after being separated into spectrum. In front of the slit 13, a transparent plate 14 of a fan type is put in with a slope and it is rotated with a motor 15. The image makes reciprocating movement left and right on the slit 13 in response to this revolution. Thus, the intensity of light from the slit 13 is that a signal of rectangular form having equal height as the height of peak of line spectrum is superimposed on a given level corresponding to the back ground. If the rectangular signal is intermittent on a given level, the part of increment/ decrement is picked up for amplification easily. |
