PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of a color shift by composing the holding member of a picture tube of a plurality of elastic bodies differing mutually in elastic modulus and by effectively suppressing the vibration of the picture tube by absorving the vibration of any frequency by the holding member. CONSTITUTION:Holding member 6 interposing between picture tube 1 and case 5 is elongated nearly to the overall length of picture tube 1 and the holding member 6 is formed of three elastic bodies 6A, 6B and 6C made of silicone rubber divided in the periphery direction. Those elastic bodies 6A, 6B and 6C, differing in elastic modulus, are held by case 5, and the space among elastic bodies 6A, 6B and 6C is filled with soft fillter 7 that never influences the holding of picture tube 1. Then, vibration conducted from external fitting member 3 of picture tube 1 to case 5 is absorbed by holding member 6 and vibration of any frequency is absorbed without fail to suppress the vibration of picture tube 1 effectively, preventing the occurrence of a color shift. |
