A device which is like a rotating channel for holding a body between two mutually parallel parts (1) which each have a hole (4) comprises a supporting ring (2) for the body and a threaded body (8, 9) which is inserted into the holes (4) and presses the two parts (1) against one another. The two parts (1) are offset in a stepped shape with respect to the supporting ring (2), the offset surface (3) of each part (1) running parallel to its other surface and containing the respective hole (4). The supporting ring (2) is provided with in each case one step (6) on both sides, which steps correspond essentially with the offsets. As a result of the shape of the offsets, the holes (4) can be incorporated subsequently in the already produced offsets, which makes possible accurate centring and accurate conformity of the dimensions and shape of the holes (4). <IMAGE>
