PURPOSE:To produce the semiprocess nondirectional silicon steel plate with low iron loss and excellent permeability by a method wherein a steel ingot for the silicon steel plate is subjected to hot rolling and, after annealing applied according to a specific condition, succeedingly subjected to cold rolling. CONSTITUTION:The steel ingot on a steel piece such as a slab containing less than 2% of C, 0.1-3.5% of Si, less than 1.0% of Al and 0.1-10% of Mn is subjected to the hot rolling to make a plate material. In this case, in order to reduce the iron loss of the silicon steel plate of a finished product and to enhance the permeability, 0.03-0.40% of Sn is contained in the composition of said steel ingot. This hot rolled steel plate is annealed at 700-1,000 deg.C and the cooling of a temp. range from 700-400 deg.C is carried out at a cooling speed of 5 deg.C/min or below. After annealing, one cold rolling or two or more of cold rolling interposing intermediate annealing is carried out to reduce a thickness of said steel plate to that of a finished plate. The semiprocess nondirectional silicon steel plate with low iron loss and excellent permeability can be produced. |
