PURPOSE:To easily form the titled device having excellent efficiency in which the speed of printing ink jetted is constant by selectively controlling ink simultaneously jetted from a large number of orifices of the first pressure chamber by ink injected from another pressure chamber. CONSTITUTION:The first pressure chamber 24 provided with one piezoelectric element 25 and the second pressure chamber (plural) 29 are arranged combining the second pressure chamber having piezoelectric elements 30 and orifices 31 to each of a plurality (for example, 11) of orifices 26 of the first pressure chamber 24. Only the piezoelectric element 30 of the second pressure chamber 29 corresponding to the orifice 26, from which ink is not jetted preferably, in response to printing signals, injecting ink from all orifices 26 of the first pressure chamber 24 by driving the piezoelectric element 25 continuously, ink is jetted from the orifice 31 and let collide with ink from the orifice 26, and the discharge of ink from the corresponding orifice 28 is obstructed. Thus, ink is discharged only from the desired orifices 28 except one mentioned above, and printing is conducted. |
