PURPOSE:To enhance the cooling efficiency of a rotor coil, to miniaturize the configuration, and to obtain the high output power, by tightly contacting the metallic bobbin of the rotor coil to the inner wall of pawl cores, and attaching metallic centrifugal fans to both outer sides of the cores so that they are tightly contacted. CONSTITUTION:A pair of pawl cores 6 and 6' having pawls are mechanically fixed to a shaft 5 so as to be located at the inside of a stator 5. On the inner wall of said cores, is held a rotor coil winding 7 around which a metallic bobbin 7a having excellent heat conductivity is wound. To both outer sides of the pawl cores, are tightly fixed metallic centrifugal cooling fans 8 and 8', whose diameter is smaller than the inner diameter of the stator and which is concentrically located with the shaft 5, with blades 8a and 8a' of the fans 8 and 8' being faced toward the outside of the pawl cores. The number of the blades 8a of the fan 8 is the same as the bumber of the pawls of the core 8, while the number of the other blades 8a' are arbitrarily formed depending on the amount of the wind. In this constitution, the cooling efficiency of the rotor coil can be greatly increased. |
