In vending machines, exchangeable coin cassettes are used for extraction and transportation of the cash. Their coin-entry orifice opens only once during insertion into the vending machine, closes during extraction and, at the same time, is double-locked. The coin cassette, when locked, cannot be inserted a second time before it is emptied. A closing body (6) is pivotably mounted in a cover (4) on a pivot axle (9) and is connected by means of a bolt (15) to one end (14) of a longitudinally movable slide (13). The free end (17) of the latter is released as a result of a transverse movement along the recess (18) by a control member penetrating into the coin cassette during the insertion of the latter. Only then is a longitudinal movement and therefore opening possible, the slide (13) causing a bistably mounted pawl (25) to tip over via a guide edge (29) and a bolt (30). This pawl, as further locking with a second bolt (31) against a stop (34), prevents a second opening after the closing of the closing body (6). During the emptying of the coin cassette, the pawl (25) is released positively via a finger (36). <IMAGE>
