Clamping sleeve for hose fittings - has lateral hole to monitor hose location

The clamping sleeve (1) for securing fittings to hose pipes has an end hole clipped over the end of the fitting and with the hose inserted into the sleeve and over the fitting stub. The sleeve is crimped onto the hose and a small lateral sight hole (8) in the end of the sleeve enables the user to check that the hose end is correctly located before crimping. The sight hole does not impair the action of the sleeve nor reduce the effectiveness of the seal. The open end of the sleeve is slightly belled out for easy fitting.
