<p>PURPOSE:To improve the quality of disposed water and to redue the flow amount of aerating air, by property controlling an aerating operation in a reservation zone. CONSTITUTION:The value of the sludge turbidity measured by the turbidity meter 20 the flow-in amount of the sludge measured by a flowmeter 41 into the zone A, each installed at the sludge reservation zone A, are inputted to a controller 30. The controller 30 is further fed with a self breeth coefficient from a device 42, an organic contaminant decomposition coefficient from a device 44, a proportion coefficient from a device 46, an oxygen removing coefficient from a device 48 and an amount of air necessary for agitation from a device 50. The controller 30 computes an oxygen amount necessary for the self breeth of the sludge, an oxygen amount necessary for the decomposition of the organic contaminants and an amount of aerating air G2 to be supplied to the zone A. The controller 30 generates a signal representing an operational air flow amount G which is equal to G2 in case of the aerating air amount G2 being higher than an amount of air G1 necessary for prevention of the activated sludge from precipitation, but equal to G1 in case of G1 being higher than G2. The operational air flow amount G outputted by the controller 30 is compared with the value measured by the flowmeter 52. The deviation is fed to an adjuster 54 and is used for adjusting an opening rate of a control valve 56. Consequently, a flow amount of aerating air to be injected through a pipe 7b in the zone A is controlled.</p> |
