Enhanced grip self tapping screw - has twin threads with same pitch and different thread thickness

The self tapping screw with enhanced grip has twin threads with identical pitch and with different thread thicknesses (4,5). The radius of the pitch turns is the same and the combination of the two threads combines optimum grip ease of insertion. The head of the screw is adpated to suit the different materials, with a nail shaped point (1) for wood cutting. The head has a crossed slot for max. grip. The narrow threads may have their faces forming an angle of 30 deg. at the sharp edge of the thread, while the faces on the broad threads form an angle of 40 deg.
