<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the static induction among key regions, to reduce the scanning time and to make stable the operation, by sectioning the ground electrode into a plurality of electrodes, sequentially scanning each ground electrode and providing the gate circuit selecting the ground electrode. CONSTITUTION:The ground electrode corresponding to the float electrode 4 on the tablet 1 is sectioned into a plurality of ground electrodes 5-8, and to ground electrodes 5-8, the X signal scanning lines X1-Xn and Y signal scanning lines Y1-Ym of the X scanning drive circuit 2 and the Y scanning drive circuit 3 are connected. The ground electrodes 5-8 are provided with the gate circuit 30 respectively, in which the ground connected independently to the ground electrodes 5-8 is released with the signal A immediately after the scanning signal selects the ground electrodes 5-8.
