The invention comprises a stabilizing stay 4, 5, 12, 24, 34 for holding together and stabilizing stands or scaffolds. The stay is intended to be placed between two profiled rods 6, 7, 28, 31, 32, 33 forming part of the stands or scaffolds. The stay shall be provided, at least at its two ends, with a section 13, 35, 36 which is at right angles to the stay and this section cooperates with a locking mechanism 14, 26, 37, 38, 39 which is pivotably mounted at its one end and, at its other end, is bent over such that the locking mechanism in the locking position, together with the right-angled section of the stay, encloses the profiled rod. <IMAGE> |
