1458464 Burners; burning waste gases SAXLUND AS 23 Sept 1974 [9 Oct 1973] 41361/74 Headings F4B and F4T In a gas combustion plant for waste gases the gas enters through an inlet 13, passes through a number of burner tubes 10, attached to a plate 9, into a combustion chamber 1 where it is burnt. The hot gases flow past the outsides of the tubes to an outlet 16 thus pre-heating the unburnt gas. Air for combustion and cooling may enter at 14 and oil, propane or other fuel may enter at 15 to maintain the required temperature in the combustion chamber. A closable discharge opening 8 provides for the removal of accumulated dust. |
