NEW MATERIAL:The titled compound shown by the formula I (X is O or Si; R<1> and R<2> are H, lower alkyl, cycloaklyl, nitro, cyano, etc.). EXAMPLE:2-Admantanon 4-methyl-3-thiosemicarbazone. USE:A virucide, anticholinergic, anti-inglammatory agent, and preventive for arterial sclerosis. PROCESS:2-Admantanon shown by the formula II is reacted with a semicarbazide or thiosemicarbazide shown by the formula in an amount equimolar with the compound in a solvent, e.g., methanol, ethanol, etc. at from room temperature to 80 deg.C, to give a compound shown by the formula I. |
