<p>PURPOSE:To form a plastic dressed plate, having beautiful luster, around a circumferential surface by forming a pattern by applying the roughened circumferential surface with a mucous coating material and flowing it down while the main body is rotated on its axial line, and then by drying and setting the material. CONSTITUTION:For the plastic dressing of a cylinder such as a fountain pen and cap, collars 2 are formed at both ends of main body 1 and the circumferential surface between collars 2 is roughened by being sprayed with sands, etc. Then, while main body 1 is rotated on its axial line, >= two kinds of mucous coating materials, differing in color, consisting essentially of epoxy resin with kneaded powder of a shell, etc., are applied onto the circumferential surface to form a slight swell, and while they are heated up to 90+ or -7 deg.C, the main body is rotated. Then, a marble pattern is formed and they are hardened at 50-120 deg.C after being dried naturally. Lastly, collars 2 and the dressed part are smoothly polished. Thus, the plastic dressed plate is formed, obtaining beautiful luster without any exfoliation.</p> |
