<p>The arrangement is intended for packaging goods (M) on a disposable pallet (1). It comprises a template (10) whose upper surface is provided with pairs of projections (13) capable of receiving carrier skids (6-8) secured to the underside of a plastics pallet deck (2). After stacking the goods and covering them with a heat-shrinkable plastics foil, the assembly is heated in an oven to shrink the foil and weld it to the deck. The loaded pallet is ready for transport and the template is reusable for the next palleting operation. The skids, which form spaces (4) between them for a lift fork, may be secured to the underside of the deck by U-section plastics elements. The pallet deck may consist of a thin flexible plastics foil.</p> |
