The storage system for micro film cards uses a housing which may be positioned below microfilm equipment, with a space (22) for holding a stack of carriers (1) each holding e.g. six folded sheets. Each folded sheet encloses a microfilm card, and carries information about the card. Each carrier consists of a sheet which slides into slots (23) each side of the space, and which has a stop (4) at the rear and a stop (2) each side to hold and locate the set of folded sheets. Each bottom sheet has a tab bent up at each side to locate against a side stop of the carrier, and a tab projecting outwards at the front to form a finger grip. Each sheet has a cut out each side, of a length to locate it in an overlapping position with the sheet above.
