In a cine projector having a compartment for a sealed magazine containing endless film driven by means of a sprocket wheel and two resiliently biased pressure rollers (as in Application No. 8017841), the magazine contains an aperture (178, Fig. 24) for receiving the wheel 124 and rollers 126 which are situated in the compartment (103, Fig. 17). A lever (120) carrying a cam 118 effects movement of the sound head (112) and an inclined plate 150 carried by a slide 110, and through plate 150 and lever 148 movement of the rollers, from and to operative positions to enable loading of the magazine. The compartment also contains pins (107) which release the film from retention means (190/192, Figs. 21 and 25) on loading. <IMAGE> |
