<p>The following are claimed: (a) the large-scale prodn. of finely divided coal and its use as a substitute for heating oil, wherein the coal is used as a non-polluting smokeless fuel in forced-air burners for central heating boilers and hot- air systems and is stored and distributed in a closed system of stationary bunkers, bunker transporters (rail, road, water) and pipelines, and (b) the large-scale prodn. of finely divided coal as a substitute for liq. fuels. The coal is opt. used as a fuel for ships' boilers (steam turbine ships) and for suitable jet or gas turbine "constructions" (as a substitute for kerosene).</p> |
