Optical information recording system - produces record of sum of projected image and interference raster of laser beam splits

The recording system of an optical information consists of projecting the image of an object, carrying the optical information, on a photosensitive thermoplastic carrier. At the same time, a raster grid with interfering beams is applied and the picture produced is fixed. The interfering beams are controlled in such a way that the recorded picture represents the sum of the projected image and of the superimposed raster grid. This creates a method of recording on a photosensitive thermoplastic carrier colour pictures or holograms of objects which are illuminated by non-coherent radiation.
