PURPOSE:To attain to reduce power by a method wherein, in supplying a gas to a gas-liquid contact apparatus, the gas is divided into multistages to a direction of a tower height as well as is controlled so as to make a gas supply speed in each stage constant. CONSTITUTION:In the gas-liquid contact apparatus, the gas 1 such as air is compressed by a compressor 7 and divided into multistages in branched pipes 8' through a pipe 8 to be supplied to said gas-liquid contact apparatus. Then, a gas amount in each divided stage is controlled so as to make a necessary amount of a gas, for example, oxygen, that is, a supply amount of oxygen in that stage constant. Thereby, because a gas utilization ratio can be increased, the reduction of the power for supplying the gas is attained and the gas-liquid contact is efficiently carried out. |
