<p>A rigid and a movable retaining piece, or more than one of each, are incorporated in a holder for panes of glass, or similar. The movable piece is mounted on an axis perpendicular to the plane of the pane, so as to swivel into a retaining position, where it is secured by bolting elements, and into at least one insertion position. It is fitted with a screw parallel to the swivel axis, for firmly mounting the pane. Swivel axis and screw may be covered by a cap. The swivel axis can be a fixing screw for the movable piece. Panes can be easily inserted or removed single-handed on site, while the mounting can readily be made theft-proof.</p> |
