<p>PURPOSE:To replace a frictional pad and adjust the pad pressure in simple ways by installing an elastic means for urging a supporting member for supporting the frictional pad in shiftable ways, to a paper feeding roller side. CONSTITUTION:When a frictional pad 12 is replaced, a bypass table 9 is demounted from the body 3a of a copying machine 3, and a frame 7 is opened upwardly, and a gap is generated between the body 3a and a paper feeding roller 8. The handle 23 of a stack holder is nipped, and pulled in the direction of arrow 5, and then an installation tool B can be easily demounted from the body 3a. A new installation tool B is installed in the reverse procedures to those in the above-described demounting, and the replacement of the frictional pad 12 for each installation tool B is completed. When a pad pressure is changed according to the kind of the copying paper, the installation tool B is demounted to replace a spring 14, and the operation can be carried out in simple ways.</p> |
