<p>PURPOSE:To increase the color separation effect of a color mosaic filter and decrease blooming by laminating and disposing plural colored light shielding elements which form different colors between color filter elements relating to the color mosaic filter mounted to single plate color image pickup elements. CONSTITUTION:Three colors, red, blue and green, are formed on the photosensors 21 on an underflying base plate 1 by means of color filters of respectively single colors. The three colors are all formed in the area corresponding to the space parts 23 between the photosensors at the time of forming the three colors, red, blue and green, to form laminar light shielding films 24 (laminates of light shielding elements), whereby light shielding effect is provided. Since this color filter is able to provide higher light shielding effect by superposing only the required parts of the color filters of the three colors, there is no need for forming any extra light shielding bodies.</p> |
