PURPOSE:To improve the linearity of the microwave input and output characteristics by controlling acceleration electrode voltage with the use of at least a single collector. CONSTITUTION:The potential which is applied to an acceleration electrode 3 is obtained by connecting the power circuit of the second collector 7 to another power circuit in series. When the microwave input power increases, this reduces the second collector current and increases the second collector potential. This increases also the potential of the acceleration electrode 3 and the electron beam current and improves the input and output characteristics. |
