PURPOSE:To make easy the mointor, by the character display added with dummy bit to the residual bits produced in hexadecimal display of data not based on octed data. CONSTITUTION:The transmission data between MODEM MDM and communication control unit CCU is input to the link monitor device DLM via a branch device T. A reception processing circuit RPU transfers the bit-oriented data also in one octed unit to the processor CPU, and transfers it added with dummy data in one octed unit if the residual bit data is present and informs it to the CPU. The CPU makes character assembling in one octed unit for the character display at the display device DSP. As to the residual bit data, since it is informed to the CPU, the monitor can be made easier through different display from other data. |
