PURPOSE:To simplify the adjustment or relative position between a platen and photo electric conversion element train, by locating the platen and the photo electric conversion element train so that the image forming location of the maximum size of original on the platen has a margine at both the sides on the photo electric conversion element train and removing the read-in signal for the margin. CONSTITUTION:The relative position of the photo electric conversion element train 1 and the platen 2 can be adjusted so that the image of the original of maximum size readable on the platen 2 can be formed on the photo electric conversion element train 1 with a margin at the both sides. Further, when a readout clock is fed to the terminal 7, the photo electric conversion element train 1 is read out one by one bit. Among these bits, only m-bit effective preceding as the video signal can be selected. Thus, after the readout clock is counted by beta1 times, the video signal gate 5 is open and the video signal 8 is output to adjust the delay element. |
