<p>PURPOSE:To perform smooth shifting by a method wherein a set value of an automatic voltage adjustor in the state of waiting is made to follow the set value of the automatic voltage adjustor in the state of employment and the following action is stopped when a limiting device operates. CONSTITUTION:In the synchronous machine are provided two sets of excitation controlling device containing the automatic voltage adjustor 9 and an insufficient excitation limiting device 7 and between two units is connected the automatic following device 11 which adjusts a variable voltage setter 10. And, when the 1st excitation controlling device is in the state of employment and the 2nd excitation controlling device is in the state of waiting, the automatic following device 11 compares the output of the voltage adjustors 9a and 9b and controls the set value of the 2nd variable voltage setter 10b so that the difference in output of two adjustors becomes zero. When the output of the limiting device 7 is detected, contact points 14 and 15 are ipened and the following action is stopped. Accordingly, the setter 10 in the state of waiting is kept constantly at a proper value, whereby the shifting can be made smoothly.</p> |
