PURPOSE:To reduce or remove the influence of a transverse oscillation component, by constituting the coating layer by a material in which the transverse oscillation component is hard to be propagated. CONSTITUTION:Plural piezoelectric vibrators 2 which have formed the electrodes 13a, 13b on both the surfaces are constituted in a narrow tablet shape on the base 11 for damping the free vibration. The coating layer 14 is formed between these vibrators 2. The influence of a transverse oscillation component can be reduced or removed by constituting this layer 14 by a material by which the transverse oscillation component is hard to be propagated. As for the material for remarkably damping this transverse oscillation component, metallic particles, particles of metallic oxide, particles of metallic compound, and material mixing at least 1 kind of particles of nonferrous metal such as porcelain, carbon, etc. are effective. And, when this material is stuck in one body onto the vibrator 12 and the base 11, the damping effect of the ultrasonic wave which is a transverse oscillation component is generated, and unnecessary excitation of the adjacent vibrator by unnecessary transverse oscillation is reduced remarkably. |
