PURPOSE:Fucoidin included in brown algae is used as an adhesion to bond fish eggs on the surface of tangle, thus producing tangle bearing spawn on the surface that has a composition close to naturally occurring spawn-bearing tangle and shows good taste and flavor. CONSTITUTION:Leaves of brown algae, from which sand or dust has been removed, are coated with a solution of fucoidine or, after the surface has been incised, immersed in a dilute solution of a divalent metal salt other than those of Mg and Hg such as calcium chloride or in an acetic acid solution to leach out fucoidin on the leaf surface. Then, fish eggs are applied to the leaf surface of tangle covered with fucoidin and dried or half dried or without drying coated or immersed with a solution of trivalent metal salt such as Al, Fe. Then, excess amounts of the trivalent metal solution is removed as it is or after drying to give the product. |
