<p>PURPOSE:To decrease the number of characters on the input character board surface, by printing the using characters arranged on the character input board surface and into a grid-type form with a printer and inserting a sheet of printed paper under a position detector. CONSTITUTION:When the operator indicates a specified character set, the character set is transferred to the refresh memory 13 from the character set file 14. Furthermore the characters are arranged on the character display device 11 under the control of the controlling device 15 and based on the line and row position information. For addition or alteration of the using character, the position information of the input character board surface 1 which is added or altered by the typewriter 16 plus the character code or the attribute information are given. For instance, in case ''shin'' (Chinese character) is inputted, the redical information is indicated to select the ''shin'' since eight homonym characters exist. Then the character position is indicated on the surface 1 of the character input part 10, and thus the position information is given to the memory 13 under the control of the control device 15. And the character code corresponding to the position information is read out of the memory 13 to be stored in the input character storing file 18. Thus the input of characters is completed.</p> |
