PURPOSE:To eliminate pulse noises without entailing the deterioration of sound quality by providing a high cutting device at the prior stage of the gate circuit of a pulse noise eliminating device and by turning off this high cutting device during pulse noise elimination. CONSTITUTION:High cutting device 11 is provided between delaying circuit 2 in front of gate circuit 6 and decoder 8. High cutting device 11, brought under IFAGC of an intermediate-frequency automatic gain controlling circuit, is not in operation with its IFAGC signal when an electric field is intense and put into operation as its internal noise increases when the electric field is weak. Further, high cutting device 11 is turned off by the output of pulse noise detecting circuit 1 only in switching time when gate circuit 6 is turned off. |
