PURPOSE:To heat an intake in case of a low temperature and energize its combustion by mounting semiconductor element having a positive temperature characteristic into a sucked air passage of an upper section of a Venturi section of a carbureter. CONSTITUTION:A semiconductor element 13 having a positive temperature characteristic, calorific power thereof increases when a temperature is low, is installed into an intake passage between a carbureter (a) and an air cleaner 10. The element 13 consists of a large number of tabular bodies, and improves the passage of sucked air. The element 13 is connected to a water-temperature switch 15 inserted into a cooling-water jacket 14 through a relay 16, the element 13 is conducted only when a low temperature, and the sucked air is heated. |
