<p>A contact device for electrically contacting a removable contact finger with two spaced apart, parallel rail walls, comprising two elongated, mainly equally shaped contact members mounted within a housing, each contact member comprising an intermediate curved section, where these contact members cross each other and form a hingelike construction, such that a short section of the one contact member at the one side of the cross section is mainly in alignment with a long section of the other contact member at the other side of the cross section, in which the internal opposite sides of the long sections are shaped as internally directed contact surfaces contacting the removable finger in between, while the external sides of the short sections are shaped as externally directed contact surfaces, each one contacting a respective rail wall.</p> |
