PURPOSE:To absorb the external expansion of a stator core due to a temperature rise, and thereby preventing the core from causing waving, by a method wherein a slit is provided in the tangential direction of a rib at a location in the vicinity of a junction connecting the rib of an annular shelf plate supporting the stator iron core through the intermediary of the rib. CONSTITUTION:A rib 7 is connected to outside circumference of an annular stator core 1 through a dovetail 6, and the core 1 is joined to an annular shelf plate 10 of the stator frame 5 through this rib 7. In the neighborhood of a section on the inside diameter side of this annular shelf plate 10, which is joined to the rib 7, a slit 13 is provided in a tangential direction of the rib. Width of the slit 13 is made larger than the width of the rib 7. By so doing, it is possible to absorb thermal expansion of the stator core 1 in the direction of the outside diameter due to the temperature rise, whereby the core is prevented from causing waving. |
