PURPOSE:To obtain the miniaturized and light-weighted electric machine as well as to prevent the deterioration of the machine by a method wherein a cooling capacity is automatically controlled corresponding to the heating power of the electric machine by applying the principle of the absorption-type refrigerator. CONSTITUTION:A refrigerant heating chamber 21 is provided at the upper section of the electric machine 20 such as a transformer and the like, and the aqueous solution of refrigerant such as lithium bromide, fron and the like is vaporized by the heat of the electric machine 20. And the vaporized refrigerant is condensed by a condenser 23, it is evaporated by an evaporator 25 through an expansion valve 24 and after the heated oil brought in around the evaporator 25 from the transformer has been cooled, the oil is absorbed into a thin aqueous solution in the absorber 26. As a result, the cooling capacity is automatically controlled in accordance with the heating power of the electric machine, the electric machine is maintained at a constant temperature, it is miniaturized and light-weighted, the deterioration of the machine is prevented and the electrical energy can be economized. |
