PURPOSE:To make the size of circular polarized wave generator small, by making unnecessary the coaxial line and components located outside of the circular waveguide, through the provision of a loop coil as a magnetic coupling element on the short-circuited surface of the circular waveguide. CONSTITUTION:No component exists at the external circumference of a circular waveguide 1, and loop coils 5-1-5-4 as a magnetic element of short-circuited part are provided via coaxial connectors 6-1-6-4. To the coils 5-1-5-4, signals different from phase, 0 deg., 90 deg., 180 deg. and 270 deg. which are obtained from a straight line polarized wave A via a phase shift circuit 7, are fed. Thus, four signals made different for the phase by the circuit 7 are fed to the loop coils 5-1-5-4, allowing to obtain the circular polarized waves B. Thus, the coaxial line of the waveguide 1 is made unnecessary and the components mounted external to the waveguide 1 are made unnecessary, allowing to make the size of the circular polarized wave generator small. |
