<p>The transfer appts. for semiconductor plates used in the mfr. of semiconductor components includes a carriage mounted on two parallel horizontal rails. The carriage may be drawn along the rails by a motor with a drive belt. To one side of the rails there is a removable basket in which plates may be stacked vertically side by side, and in line with this there is a permanently fixed basket lying on the common axis. The movable carriage has a projecting arm on the end of which is a right angled elbow. The remote end of this elbow supports a suction disc which is used to hold the discs during transfer. The arm may be moved vertically and twisted by pneumatic cylinders so as to locate the disc in the required position.</p> |
