The cleaning fluid applicator has a container and a screw cap and foam plastics plug as an applicator. The container forms a grip with hollow handle and a flat support surface, has a side outlet at the top which is enclosed in a hollow cylindrical boss normal to the container axis and complete with the plug, with an outside thread for the cap. The container is waisted both sides near the boss end, or right the way along. The plug is coated in flock material where it projects and adjoins a container partition inside with a passage hole, possibly the base of an adaptor which folds out to take the plug sponge. The sponge could be glued to the top of the partition if this forms the top of the adapter, now fitted with a spring pin to close off the passage hole.
