<p>The changeover mechanism for removing tubs from wagons travelling on rails along a mine gallery has its power supply cable supported at an overhead position inside the gallery. The cable travels around at least one return wheel with its axis of rotation arranged vertically, supported by a horizontal beam mounted near the roof level, and on the operating side of the track. This beam is attached to the bottom ends of supports which are cantilevered outwards from a rail centrally mounted close to the roof forming a parallel track along which the cable is guided. In an alternative design, the return wheel is supported by a bracket with rollers which travel along the horizontal roof beam, this beam forming the track for a crab travelling above the wagons.</p> |
