PURPOSE:To set the heat generated at a specific level to match actual applications by so separating thermal decomposition from combustion that the generation of combustible gas and mist is independent of the combusting reaction. CONSTITUTION:Required number of waste tires are dumped and stacked in a thermal decomposition chamber 3 while charcoal fire is placed at the bottom of a combustion chamber 6. As the tire is burned by igniting the bottom thereof with a small amount of air being sent to an air injection pipe 2, mist and decomposed gas are introduced to the combustion chamber 6 side via a communicating port 7, where they are ignited and burned completely with a sufficient supply of oxygen to generate a combustion heat. At the same time, the combustion heat is received with a dry distillation chamber 3 as radiant heat making the thermal decomposition of the tire more effective. When the heat attains the required level with further combustion, the delivery of a combustible gas and the supply of radiant heat reaches the limit. Thus, the combustion and distillation reaction is controlled because of the fixed opening area of the communicating opening thereby maintaining the heat generated at a desired level. |
