<p>Oxidn. dye-based hair-dyeing compsns. contain substd. isoquinolines having formula (I) (where X is OH or am amino gp.) or their inorganic or organic salts as developers and/or couplers, and opt. standard oxidn. hair dye developers or couplers. In use, (I), on their own or with standard developers, or couplers, form fast, strong yellow to dark-brown shades which are easily removed with reducing agents. (I) are highly water-soluble, resist storage, are non-toxic and cause no skin irritation.</p> |
