Floating matter separator for sewage - with baffle plate system above settling space preceding separation area

Floating matter is sepd. from sewage in a sepn. tank, preceded by a settling space with a sump; the bottom of the sepn. tank is inclined towards the sump. The immersed portion between settling and sepn. spaces is designed as a baffle plate system which takes up the space above the sludge trap and includes vertical plates at various levels. This prevents the accumulation of floating matter such as grease above the sludge trap and increases the surface area available in the sepn. space.
