PURPOSE:A food additive that is made by mixing glycerol with sucrose fatty acid ester and honey and/or starch syrup, thus being capable of keeping softness for a long period of time and of making cake comfortable to eat, therefore being mainly used for steamed cake. CONSTITUTION:Glycerol is combined with a sucrose fatty acid ester and natural honey or starch syrup or both of them so that the content of the sucrose ester is adjusted to 15-50% based on the resultant food additive. |
